Charlie with his first wife Judith (Judy to us!) After their split we never heard from Judy for well over 40 years and then Judy and I found each other on Facebook. We now keep in regular contact with Judy and her husband John
John sadly passed away this year (2021) such a shame that we only got to meet him the one time.
It was Charlie who got me into Chelsea Football Club. But in later years, it was me who took him there. He loved the day out with me, my Billy and my son-in-law Martin. We 'larged it up' big time and he loved every minute of it. He got to meet a few of his old heroes and of course 'The Goal Machine' Kerry Dixon.
I like this one.
Charlie and my Alison singing Karaoke at our house on St Mary's Island, Kent. It took a while to get him up but he loved it.
Another one from probably the same karaoke night.
ONE MAN WENT TO MOW
Charlie loved coming up to Chelsea to celebrate the successes, this was a Premier League Title celebration, always a great but very 'drunken' day!
With my arm around Charlie.. Thank you for making me see the (Blue) light!
At one of our parties, Charlie decided to have his head shaved to raise a couple of bob for a cancer charity - Charlie had just lost Audrey, his long-term partner to cancer.
Charlie goading Tommy into a playfight, I think Tommy would have won this. A few years ago definitely not as Charlie used to be quite handy with his fists, never a bully though.
